Pridegoers also voted New York as the second most LGBTI-friendly city in the US (11%). San Francisco ranked first with 13% and Chicago third with 10%.

Barack Obama among favorites for Grand Marshals
Furthermore, respondents indicated the public figures they would love to see as Grand Marshals.
Nearly 50% of all those surveyed chose Barack Obama, Ellen DeGeneres, RuPaul and Janelle Monáe.
DeGeneres is also the celebrity Pridegoers would most like to see at the parade (31%). Lady Gaga ranked second with 24%, while the Obamas and Queer Eye’s Fab Five tied for third place with 15%.
Unsurprisingly, the person Pridegoers would least like to attend a parade with is an ex-partner, with a solid 47%.
